Salt Creek Canoeing

Chief Logan Reservation offers an off-site canoeing experience. This adventure is available to the first 19 youth and 4 adults that sign up on Monday morning. The expedition travels roughly 9 miles - down the middle fork of Salt Creek for 6 miles and Salt Creek River for 3 miles. The expedition usually takes about half a day to complete. The expedition puts in to the middle fork of the Salt Creek and travel around 6 miles joining into main body of Salt Creek for 3 miles and docking in Richmond Dale. Volunteer adult leaders from troops in camp are needed to help transport the expedition from the voyage back to camp. This is about a 16 mile round trip.
