Recently, we have had several inquires regarding the financial support we receive from the United Way of Central Ohio.  In order to help clarify those questions, we offer the following comments:

There are two ways the Simon Kenton Council receives funding from the United Way of Central Ohio:

•  By applying for program funding through the allocation process

•  From donors designating their gift go to an agency.  Those choosing the designation option, must indicate their agency of choice on their pledge form. 

 By designating your gift to the United Way, you ensure that your dollars will be spent on the program you choose.  When designating your United Way of Central Ohio gift to the Simon Kenton Council, Boy Scouts of America, choose agency # 16 in the designation box on your pledge form.
