Cracking the Codes of the Digital World For 5th and 6th Graders Only Tue. Mar. 23, 2010 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Time Warner Cable 1015 Olentagy River Rd.
"Cracking the Codes of the Digital World" is a free event open to 5th and 6th graders only. Some activities include: Demonstrating the transfer of energy (light energy to electrical energy), Changing digital messages into pictures, Demonstrating how radio wave signals are sent from outer space, Demonstrating geosynchronous orbit, Demonstrating how television shows are sent and received using the TWC pipeline, Demonstrating how the cable network can be sent to multiple locations or homes. All activities will be hands-on and fun! Only 25 spots are open for this event so don't delay.
