Bears to Webelos to Scouts Transition

Bear Webelos Scout Buckeye District's Training Team is offering a special session for all Bear and Webelos Leaders, Cubmasters, and interested parents on the Bears to Webelos to Scouts Transition on Wednesday, September 26, 2007.

One of the 10 purposes of Cub Scouting is preparation for Boy Scouts. Bridging the gap between Webelos Scouting and Boy Scouting results in better-prepared and more-enthusiastic new members for the troop, a strong feeling of success for the pack and most important an outstanding new Scouting experience for the boys.

By attending this FREE session you will:
  • Learn the details of how Webelos Scouting is different from Cub Scouting
  • Learn how to plan the Webelos year so that each Scout has the opportunity to earn the Arrow of Light Award
  • Obtain the resources necessary to find a Boy Scout Troop in your area and meet some Scoutmasters
Please note that this is not Webelos Specific Training. To register or if you have questions, contact Ruth White. Download the Bears-Webelos-Scouts Transition Flier.
