Please note: You must attend all sessions to obtain certification from the American Red Cross ---no exceptions.

You must be 14 years of age or older to take Wilderness & Remote First Aid.
The basic cost for the entire certification is only $75.00, which includes all books, study guides, and patch.


Adult CPR which is a prerequisite for WFA is $15.00 (normally $25.00) if you register for WFA 2010 and CPR at the same time or Free if you (adult) sign up 2 youth for WFA 2010.

"Cracking the Codes of the Digital World" is a free event open to 5th and 6th graders only. Some activities include: Demonstrating the transfer of energy (light energy to electrical energy), Changing digital messages into pictures, Demonstrating how radio wave signals are sent from outer space, Demonstrating geosynchronous orbit, Demonstrating how television shows are sent and received using the TWC pipeline, Demonstrating how the cable network can be sent to multiple locations or homes. All activities will be hands-on and fun! Only 25 spots are open for this event so don't delay.

 Merit Badge Boot Camp

Cost: $150.00/Person (Includes camping fees (cabins), food, program, materials, recognitions, Merit Badge Boot Camp patch, and Tshirt.)

Upon successful completion of Merit Badge Boot Camp, the enlistee will earn the following: Cooking, Disabilities Awareness, Fly Fishing, Woodcarving, Farm Mechanics, Environmental Science, Fish and Wildlife Management, Soil and Water Conservation, and Sports Merit Badges.

Enlistee´s will also earn the Donor Awareness Award, Paul Bunyan Award, Crime Prevention Award, and the new Camp Lazarus Hike Trail recognition.

Enlistee´s will also be able to register to earn the Coin Collecting, Stamp Collecting, Collections, Reading, Radio, and American Cultures Merit Badges.

5 enlistee´s will be selected to work on the Journalism, Cinematography, and Surveying Merit Badges. (5 each Merit Badge)

Merit Badge Boot Camp is open to enlistee´s between the ages of 12 and 17.
